Questions and answers

What can I report?

It helps us if you have anecdotal evidence that ARGUS DATA INSIGHTS Schweiz AG employees or others are acting inappropriately or contrary to our company’s interests and you report this. This may include severe compliance violations, crimes, such as corruption and fraud, theft and embezzlement, coercion and bullying, or other rule breaking, such as discrimination, abuse of power, environmental or human rights risks and other violations of obligations. Even forthcoming or planned violations can and should be reported. You can even report something if it is just a suspicion. Even if it becomes apparent later that the suspicion was unfounded, you will not face any negative consequences for having reported it.

However, the whistleblower system is not suitable for complaints or for reporting emergencies.

How do I report something?

We have outsourced our internal reporting office to a law firm, which deals with the tasks involved.

You have several ways to report something: you can report something in person, by telephone, via email or in writing by post using the contact details below:

How does the reporting process work?

Describe the situation in as much detail as possible. Mention the people involved, the time and place of the incident and also the names of potential witnesses. If possible, also send documents, such as images, emails, etc., that support the suspicion.

You decide which details you provide, whether you want to remain anonymous and whether you want to be available for our representative to contact you with any questions.

If you provided contact details, you will receive confirmation that your report has been received within seven days of its receipt. Within another three months, you will receive a notification of how your report is being handled and the measures taken, as long as sending a notification will not endanger any internal investigations or infringe any third-party rights.

How are my details protected?

All information about you is handled confidentially. If you would like to, you can submit your report anonymously.

The whistleblower system complies with the relevant legal regulations. All reports are received by our trusted lawyers and processed responsibly before being forwarded to the relevant office at ARGUS DATA INSIGHTS Schweiz AG.

The documentation of your report with ARGUS DATA INSIGHTS Schweiz AG will be deleted by no more than three years after the process has ended.

Do I risk facing negative consequences if I report something to the internal reporting office?

Whistleblowers have protection under labour law if, at the point in time that they report something to the internal reporting office, they have sufficient reason to believe that the information being reported is true. The report must also be about a subject within the scope of the Whistleblowing Act, i.e. in particular crimes, serious offences or similar serious infringements. You cannot suffer any negative consequences pertaining to your employment. This applies even if it becomes apparent later that the suspicion was unfounded.

Who can I contact if I am unsure whether I should use the whistleblower system?

You can ask us questions on the phone or by email. If in doubt, it makes sense to use the whistleblower system. Our trusted lawyers treat incoming reports responsibly and prudently and apply their wealth of experience.
